A home with an unfinished basement and open crawlspace is far cheaper than one with finished ceilings, tiled walls and no access panels.
The biggest single variable between quotes, and the one most often left ambiguous. Repair to paint-ready can add $1,500–$4,000 on a whole-home repipe.
Strata approval, scheduled building shut-off, elevator booking and corridor protection are real costs in a tower.
