We’re new, so here’s what you can check instead
Panther started in 2026. We don’t have a wall of reviews yet, and we’re not going to pad one with reviews from friends — that’s against Google’s rules and, more to the point, it would tell you nothing.
So until there are enough of them to be worth reading, here is what you can verify today. Seven things. Every one of them is either a public record or a document we hand you before we start work.
Seven things you can check before you call
- Contractor licence
- Technical Safety BC runs a free public contractor search. The number shows the licence class and whether it’s current — a licence can be pulled, which is exactly what makes it worth checking.
- Liability insurance
- The certificate of insurance, emailed before we start — ask on the phone and it arrives the same day. If a company won’t send one, that answer is also information.
- WorkSafeBC account
- A clearance letter, checkable through WorkSafeBC with the account number. It matters more than it sounds: hire an uncovered crew and the liability for them working on your property can land on you.
- Published pricingجزئیات →
- No call-out fee, no after-hours premium, and the same rate at 3am as at 3pm. It’s on the pricing page with the cancellation terms, so you can hold us to a number you read before you dialled.
- Written guaranteeجزئیات →
- Workmanship, in writing, parts and labour and the call-out included. The full terms are published — including the two things it doesn’t cover and why, which is the part most companies leave out.
- Permitsجزئیات →
- A permit is a municipal record with our licence number on it, and it puts a city inspector — who doesn’t work for us — over the work. You can look up the permits on your own address.
If any of it doesn’t check out, don’t hire us. That’s the whole point of publishing the numbers rather than the adjectives.
A review is an opinion. A licence is a record.
One person’s day, in five words or five hundred
In volume, that’s genuinely useful — patterns show up that no company would publish about itself. In twos and threes it tells you almost nothing, and you have no way to know whether the three are real.
That somebody with authority already checked
The province verified the qualifications and can revoke them. The insurer confirmed the coverage in writing. The gas work gets inspected by a city inspector who has no interest in our reputation.
In a year, judge us on both. Today, judge us on the half that can’t be bought, written by a friend, or deleted by whoever is unhappy about it.
Everyone gets the same message, once
Nobody gets screened first. The customer whose day we ruined gets the same link on the same schedule as everyone else.
A text an hour or two later, on your own phone, in your own time. Nobody stands in your hallway holding out a tablet.
No discount, no draw, no gift card. Not for leaving a review, and not for changing one you’ve already left.
We ask about your experience and stop there. We don’t suggest a rating, a phrase, or a name to mention.
This page at ten
A 4.9 built from two reviews tells you nothing, so there is no average on this page until there are ten of them.
No star rating in our search listing either, for the same reason. When the tenth one lands, the reviews go up here with filters and an average, and everything above stays exactly where it is.
And to be clear
Nothing on this page is asking you for a review.
If you’re a customer, the ask arrives by text after the job, once — then one email three days later if we hear nothing, and never a third. That is the entire system, and it only runs after work is finished.
The ones we actually get asked
Because we started in 2026, and reviews come from finished jobs. The first ones will be from the first customers, which is the only way anyone gets them.
We could. It’s a policy violation that can take a Google profile down entirely, and it would tell you nothing about how we work. When there are reviews here, every one will trace back to a paid invoice.
Technical Safety BC publishes a contractor search. Enter LIC-00215637. It’s free and takes about a minute.
Yes, before we start. Ask on the phone and it’s emailed the same day — $5,000,000 liability, with the WorkSafeBC clearance letter alongside it.
You call us and we come back. Ninety days on workmanship, parts and labour and the call-out included, and the full terms are published — including what isn’t covered.
